That's not a problem. Adding a booster is a reasonable fix and makes a big difference. All the help you need right here on the forum. Good luck.

Offer 500. Sure it's probably worth more, but who's the competition?

See if he will let you make payments, and write up a contractual bill of sale.

Re: How much would you spend

Well guys I'm back I got the truck for 1200 it has 86k on it he's letting me give him 100 bucks a month but I messed with it today I cleaned the points and drained the bad gas put 5 gallons of fresh gas and changed the filter I. The carb and it fired then I kept spraying carb cleaner it her to keep her running , and after a little bit it idle by itself but I notice the carb base gasket was leaking so I pulled the carb but autozone didn't have the gasket so I still need that I also got new points but it wouldn't fire when I put them in so I put the old one for now back in it but....
There's brakes no pressure in the pedal at all there's fluid tho ?
And all the lights and wipers work but the am radio dosnt work i also washed the front end a little too

Great find, you should be able to get a rebuild kit at the auto parts store, If not go online and get one, just google it. Google is amazing!

Re: How much would you spend

Does the fuel pump, pump fuel right away. Because mine isn't when I crank it over but once I spray some starting fluid in it and it fires up it pumps fine.
