How to remove window washer fluid from 2005 Silverado

I put some washer fluid in my truck last night and half way through putting it in I got a smell of rotten eggs (sulfur). How do I get about 1 gallon of washer fluid out of the tank? I was thinking of sticking my wet/dry vac in the hole but I dont think it will reach the fluid.

Is there a drain plug.

No drain plug.

You could run the washers until dry; or the shop vac idea; or, pull the bottle off and turn it over.

What's the story with the sulfur smell? I'm not familiar with that happening...

Man... it's a pain in the ass to get the bottle out. You won't be able to get a shop vac in it. The neck is super skinny and flat as it runs down the side of the battery then it balloons out into the tank. To remove it you have to remove the battery, then the battery tray, then it can come out. However, the pump is located at the bottom. If you pull the pump away from the bottle (it has a snap fitting at the top part) the bottom just fits inside the bottle with a seal, if you pull the pump the fluid will drain out. You should be able to get almost all of it out this way.

I had to pull mine out because it was leaking. Turns out the hard plastic hose had "cut itself" on the tabs on the bottle. It was a pain in the ass.

I have no idea what the smell is from. I opened the bottle and started to pour in. I then start smelling this rotten smell. I thought my dog passed gas. Finished the bottle and then looked around. No dog, no kid.....
Smelled the bottle and it stunk. I had just bought it from Walmart. So god only knows what garbage is in the washer fluid. On the way to work today I tried to spray some and almost got sick from the smell./
