Glenn, lowest shipping rate I found for 17 lb from 08008 to 92663 was fedex $37.62

70stovebolt, best shipping 17 lb 08008 to 46590 was fedex 14.97

Have you checked the hinges with the springs removed? The reason I ask is that I just purchased a set that was tight until I removed the springs and found slop.

Glen, I haven't removed the hinges, I know that the hood opened and closed fine without any side to side movement.

A pair won't fit. Not sure one would in the current boxes they offer. Why would slop in the hinges matter with the springs off as long as there's none with them on and in use on the truck?
