Hey Tom,
If any chance you'll be cutting up the body I could use the bucket seat reinforcement crossmember.
Thanks Curt

Re: 72 Blazer for parts

Here's a few pics of the #s rex, it might be easier if you told me what # your looking for on the Manifolds & alternator, I have more lying around, looks like 2 RH manifolds.

GMC2500 dont think its factory, here's a pic, there is a screw in the side of it.

Flying cubby I'll have to look for the skid plate

Re: 72 Blazer for parts

I'm looking for casting/part #'s

3932469-(L.H.)
3905364-(R.H.)
3989055- (L.H.)
3896956-(R.H.)
I'm assuming that 2 of these 4 listed casting/part #'s are for a 2wd and the other are for a 4wd both would have been used on a SBC 350. The only way i can tell apart on a 2wd and a 4wd exhaust manifold is on the drivers side. the 2wd is curved and a 4wd is straight.
Let me know what you have and i will do more research on which 2 of the 4 i need.
As for the alternator there are 2 different models that would have came on a Blazer.
1102459 42 amp new #
1102455 61 amp new #

If rebuilt the part #'s will be,
1963777 42 amp rebuilt #
1969257 61 amp rebuilt #

Re: 72 Blazer for parts

12 second nova, unfortunately doors are far from perfect.

Passmore, so far I have the intermediate cable, which other pieces did you need?

Dahos I have the shift linkage rod, the part that connects to it & the part that bolts to the frame. $100 shipped. I have the linkage piece that bolts to the trans with the spring new for $15

Rex10, sorry no luck on the alternator or manifolds, I had 3 pair that were pulled from blazers & every one is a 469 R/H !
