EMBLEMS... Lots of emblems...

Some of the old timers know this board pretty well. I finally got to add a few that i have collected more recently.
Thanks Special-k for the 67 custom emblem and livrat for the c-40 emblem.
Still missing a few, but running out of room too.
Enjoy.

Re: EMBLEMS... Lots of emblems...

Ive always liked the camper cruiser emblems. Ive had a couple of sets, the last one I gave away to a local truck bud that needed them. Kinda wish I would have kept to stick on the wall.

Re: EMBLEMS... Lots of emblems...

I am curious about something. My truck was built by a previous owner out of random parts. And I am not that concerned that everything is historically correct. Anyway, ever Cheyenne I had seen always has a Super emblem below.
Did they have a Cheyenne Deluxe? Perhaps a Cheyenne without the woodgrain accents? 1971 model.
Here are my emblems.

No cheyenne deluxe. Would either be a cheyenne super or custom deluxe. A pic of your SPID would tell us.

I guess it was a custom deluxe. Not sure it was originally a Cheyenne.

The cab, passenger door, and Vin are 1971 GMC. The rest of the truck pretty much matches the SPID.

Sweet collection and that Cheyenne Deluxe is rich

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't sure if Custom and Deluxe was one or two badges Top that.

Re: EMBLEMS... Lots of emblems...

I've seen a few of the 67 GMC custom Canadian only door emblems. I picked these ones off a 67 GMC 1 ton Chassis Cab today that have red white red like the Canadian flag. I never have seen before.

Re: EMBLEMS... Lots of emblems...

I love emblems! What a great collection. I am nowhere near as complete with my collection. I finally found one rare GMC Custom emblem on a fender at a swap meet and convinced the guy he needed to let me remove it. Then I realized it needed to go with Eric's collection.

I have a set of Canadian 910 fender and Custom door emblems as an option for my '67 project. I also have the '67-only Custom fender emblems (shark gills). It's funny cuz now I'm considering a smooth no trim truck. I loves me some multiple choices

Re: EMBLEMS... Lots of emblems...

That is odd. I have some N.O.S. 3500 ones that have Custom Camper on them. I'm wondering if they were for a ValuVan camper conversion.

I hear ya... I shuffle a few around, add a few, fill in the empty spots, figure i won't find anymore, then i find more emblems and before you know it, this happens.
I am afraid to take them all off and redo it cuz there are ALOT of holes in there.
