New addition to the family.

Time to change my signature again. I sold my little 74 Scout w/snow plow a while back. This is the replacement. Tonight it got a good workout and moved boats into the storage barn. It looks like it will do a super-fine job.

I was starting to get worried because I couldn't find a 71-72 4x4 with a plow. This 72 K-20 came up in a local paper and it didn't last long because I got it! It is a presentable truck if you don't look under the carpet.

KD, it came from your neck of the woods, Big Lake! It was a private party not a dealers lot. Found it in the Drummer.

HeavyK20, the front bumper is massive. He told me it weighs in at 125#'s. Here is a better shot of the front.

Take a look at the rear bumper, I was told it was 250#'s +/-. And you would absolutely love this frame. Very clean and ZERO rust in the the leaf spring mounts.

KD, I hope this one will just be a reliable work truck. I will use it to move boats, campers, and snowmobile trailers around the barn and push snow all winter at my place. If I restore a 4x4, it will either be the other K-20 or the 1500 GMC 4x4.

Tennman, I have SEEN THE LIGHT! Driving a 4x4 is much more fun! You just never know which way they are going to dart or bounce when you travel down the road. Every road can feel like an off-road adventure. When I drive my 2wd burb, all I can think about is how smooth the roads are. It will forever be boring to drive the ol' burb. NOT!
