Question/help on 47-54 AD rear suspension

I looked and didn't find it here. Maybe I looked for the wrong titles...?!?

Anyway.

Anyone ever do, or have knowledge of using 60's+ trailing arms on a 47-54 Gm truck?

My buddy just did a complete S-10 chassis swap on his, with bags, and it looks killer.

I'm thinking different though.

In my head, the thought of trailing arms sounds good. Maybe a new C/M and arms from CCP or any one of the vendors who sell them. And the rearend saddles are available too.

Talk to me if you've done it, know of it, hate it, love it or whatever.

I went the MII and No-Limit FatBar 4-link on my old 53 Suburban I sold last year.
I didn't care for the 4-link, and hated the MII. Seemed too lightweight for the burb.
I had a 54 a couple yeras ago with a G-body clip under it, and it rode, drove and handled 10 times better than that new MII, so that's my plan here too.

I wanna hear rearend stuff now
