Cool New one

I've always had apprehensions about working on more than one project at a time. I guess it was due to lack of space, time, finances, etc so as a result I've passed over super good deals over the years and just kept plugging away at my '60 Apache. Well, I couldn't let this one get by. I got this '66 from my cousin who lives about 25 miles away and is more than happy to let me keep it at his place for as long as I need to. It's pretty solid other than the nose of the hood.
I forgot to take pics of the VIN but it appears to be a factory V8 truck too. It'll need rockers, grill support and few other things but I'm excited about it..

I'd like to run a 292 with a manual transmission, power steering and power disc brakes. Repair/replace any cancer as needed and leave the current finish as it is for the time being. 15 inch C10 rallies or something similar for wheels and tires. Nothing fancy, just a good solid old truck. I was told that the V8 engine it has turned freely so the first order of business to get it to run or at least turn over.

Re: New one

I like the plans for it. Start a build thread on it when you start digging your teeth into it

It's been a while but I've finally gotten off to a decent start. And so it begins ...
