Re: Block Sanding?

Want to come to Marianna and go to work in my shop? Just kidding, but that is great work I would take those on my 68 GMC or either of my 70's any day.

Thanks Jim! Couple of weeks in the "Marianna Boot Camp" would do wonders!! Got the hardware, glass, and trim done this weekend on one door. Maybe get the other door done this week..........

Re: Block Sanding?

Beautiful, excellent workmanship. You really paid attention to detail.

I wish my Blazer project was at that stage..... I'm still pluggin' away at it.

Re: Block Sanding?

Yeah I kinda wish mine were at that stage too, any one of the three. I have been doing the body work on some parts in off times and in gap times in between jobs, and I have enough front stuff primed to build just about all three I just need to work on some more bed stuff and then get some cabs ready and then the frames. Re: Block Sanding?

I have the doors forward in primer now and getting pretty close to primer on the tub and door jambs. The PO welded the replacement rockers in and didn't have them exactly right when he did, so there was much finagling to get them to match the doors and quarters. I probably should have cut them off and started over with new parts.

Getting close though.
