Re: w.t.b. rockwell t221 transfer case

Rumor has it parts for those are getting tough to find. Might think of a swap to a ~71+ trans and TC swap. The 205 is a loved TC.

Re: w.t.b. rockwell t221 transfer case

or a divorced 205 from a early dodge or I.H. truck or carryall AKA suburban . this would get you stock look but better parts available .

Can't help with a whole case, but if you just need some parts to fix one, might be worth listing them ( I have a few pieces left over) I've had fairly good luck finding stuff, and parts ship a lot cheaper.
Good luck

Oops, see you already found some complete cases near you in the WTB section. This forum is so great! Don't let anybody tell you we can't find anything for our old junk.

Re: w.t.b. rockwell t221 transfer case

Not everyone wants to take the easy route, then there are those wanting to stay original with their cool bean vintage 4wd. If you want to run a Rockwell that is still possible, though maybe not easy.

My buddy is building a '69 K/20 and is keeping it old school (except the Dana60 up front. He went through the 221, needed some parts so he called. I recently sold off my Rockwell stuff and was no help. I have five 205s laying but he wasn't interested, wanted to stay with the 221. He found what he needed and is moving forward with completing the truck. Don't toss parts or components just because the are obsolete in your eyes. They are good parts that are needed for others

2nd your comment about not tossing parts. One mans junk makes another s project possible.
While I like just about all old trucks, I think the originals are the coolest and worth the effort
