Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

Yes for now. I know I will have to take it all off when I get ready to paint it. i just wanted to get the biggest part of the bodywork done and I'll paint it later. I will do some mods as I drive it. And when i get it ready or how I like it then I'll do it. Also my sons going to be a senior next year so college is just around the corner.$$

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

I put the drivers side fender on and attached the washer bottle to it. I'll respray the fender later to make it look even.I put the drivers side mirror on and I'm unsure if I'm going to put the passenger side on.

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

Wow... Your progress and work on your truck is magnificent! I can't wait to get started on mine. I will be doing most if not all the same repairs you made. The typical stuff like Rockers, Corners, and Cab supports. I should be getting mine in a day or so and will start my "Build" thread the Day its in the driveway. Good work man. I will definitely keep up with your thread.

Thanks Bob, I'm going to try to buff them along with the hood trim I have. It may make them look better until I can get new ones.

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

Thanks. I got my bike out about a week ago and took a ride. I hate this weather we're having. Its either too cold to do something downstairs or its raining. or both. I'm still waiting for the vintage air to show up. When it does I will put the front clip on all the way.

Re: Thelonerifes 72 stepper

yes Mitch it will eventually be white on top and the white grill. Blue everywhere else.
Thanks Trai. You'll get there.Just keep a steady pace. I've had to slow down quite a few times. funds and wifes heart surgery really slowed me down. I'm still at a snails pace.

Got the condensor aand hardlines on. If you do this keep your line grommets that go in your radiator support. The kit only comes with one.

As much as I hate to do it. I had to send my 17'' Ansen Sprints back. They kept putting the date off when I would get the other two. I will pick out something else. Something thats in stock next time.
