Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

I sold it a kid in St Louis. He had had hot rod trucks, but never an original. He wanted an original.

You may find this hard to believe, but I left the parchment interior in it. Of course it still had the original seat covered with a Fingerhut cover.

The truck won a trophy of some sort at Super Chevy Sunday Dallas 1988. I think I have some pictures somewhere. It was Hugger and White. On the firewall it had hugger written pencil.

There is a story about the sale, but I won't beleaguer your thread with it. I will put that in my Facetruck thread sometime.

Did I post this one up yet? It was my dad's big block truck. It went to Chicago. It was on the cover of Chevy/Corvette buyers guide.

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

Right on
It’s cool to see an old sales rag
The way it used to happen
I’ve got a bunch of old ones boxed up somewhere
Plenty of old Hemings Motor News, too
Kinda neat to look back how affordable the stuff used to be
Not so much, anymore

the open brochure lower left is the custom camper insert with RPO codes for everything
