home to car

i have a set of 10" 50 watt rms curtis mathes subs for a home audio system, would i be able to use them in a vehicle?

you can.. but most home gear is 8 ohm.. the car standard is 4 ohm.. some 2 ohm
a 200 watt mono block amp. thats rated at 200w at 4 ohm.. is only going to be a 100w at 8ohm.. other than that, they might not like the temps they see in a car . remember most homes stay at 65-72 all year..

im sure they can handle the temp changes lol we havent really had to consistant of a temp in the room there in

Personally... I wouldnt do it. You can find some good cheap subs on craigslist that would look and sound 100 times better. I am talking about 10-15 dollar subs.

Even if they can handle the temperature changes, they aren't going to be great at all.

Your local Craigslist has car audio speakers all the time.
