hiding speakers on a 66 c10?

I ordered some alpine sps 410 4" speakers to mount on a gutted stock dash speaker. well today i went to take out the stocker to prep for the incoming goodies. but i saw the wiper motor will be in the way. anybody have any other ideas? kick panels are out of the question, since i want to keep it hidden. my tank is still behind the seat. also any ideas on where to mount my little amp?

I had a pair 3-1/2" speakers in a wood mount that fit where the stocker was.

Re: hiding speakers on a 66 c10?

you can mount the 4" speakers under the dash with them facing down .. and no one will see them..(i'd add these so nothing falls in the back of them... )http://www.crutchfield.com/p_237XT40...th.html?tp=660
the boxes under the seat no one will see.. the amp can go under the seat also..
I have the 6x9 boxes.. you can have them for the cost of shipping..
but the ones listed above are 17.95+7.00 shipping..
I doubt it cost 15.00 to ship these.. I'd have to look..
or run no boxes.. and just cut a hole in carpet and the speakers magnet will keep it in one spot..

Re: hiding speakers on a 66 c10?

I have two 4.5" kickers in my center dash. I used a piece of 1/2" MDF to make a face plate, then mounted the plate to the dash.
