Pics and Info of my 67 K20

I bought this Pickup April of 2004 didn't start the build process till January of last year. Here is a short list of a few things Ive done hopefully you enjoy the Pics.
Swapped 305 v8 for rebuilt 400sb
changed to Quadrajet
converted to power steering
converted to hydroboost brakes
added 4" Rancho lift with 35" Pro comps
welded in rockers and cab corners
sprayed down some 68' medium blue PPG BASE and PPG Concept clear over 3M Rocker Schutz

This was my first full Paint job
I Didnt get a chance to wash it because it has been 15 below zero so bear with the dirty wheels and dusty paint.

Here is a 600 dollar mistake I made when I reached in the pickup to start it and check for leaks on the power steering pump I just rebuilt.

That is a beautiful truck. What color is that? Damn 4-speeds! Atleast you didn't have the front clip on yet. Keep up the good work.

At the local Praxair store they pulled out a paint code book that must have been 35 years old. The colors I picked were 1968 Chevrolet Medium Blue and GM North American white.

Beautiful truck!! I like that the paint is a factory color...looks like. Same plan as I have for my 67 C20 also. But my cab will be white.

ND Guy,

I assume that's a garage door draped over your truck? It's so mangled it's hard to tell for sure!!

Nice, are you still running the SM420/T221 in it? You have any pic of your hydro-boost swap? I'm thinking of doing mine that way and get rid of that big booster.

That's a really tough looking truck, I really like it. I've mistakenly tapped a car in a parking lot before forgetting to take it out of nuetral.

Re: Pics and Info of my 67 K20

Americanrider, Ive got sm465/205 combo My PO possibly did the poorest conversion ever. He only installed half the hardware and used a torch for the rest of the install. I spent a week just straightening out his mess.
My pics of the hydroboost are 35mm I will try and scan them today for you.

Re: Pics and Info of my 67 K20

yep thats a nice looking truck you have. enjoy it. thats a bummer about the garage door. reminds me of when my wife went and picked up a roll of carpet and while backing in the driveway. humm she somehow forgot about the roll hangin bout 5 foot over the bed and boom went the garage door. but not quite as bad as yours. again love that stock look
