Talking Just saw an awesome Chevy Commercial!!!

A gorgeous yellow and white '72 Longbed pulls up to a crossroads in the country with this old timer driving it. Across from it a New '07 Crew Cab Chevy pulls up. The back of the tailgate on the '72 has a bumper sticker that says "Don't Mess With Texas". The New Chevy has a Texas edition package on it. The old timer in the '72 nods at the new truck and takes a left turn. It was truly a beautiful site!! I really couldn't tell you much about the new '07 chevy though, I was too busy watching the '72

non-texas guys might have to hunt for that one...since it's for the "Texas Edition" package on the silverado.
it was a great lookin' ochre/white '72 cheyenne package

Too bad they won't be showing it out here. Those spots are designed for certain areas. There will probably be one for us in California showing a guy with a load of fruits and nuts commenting on how clean the exhaust is or something.I've seen stuff almost that bad on tv here.

That's great! Right up my alley, 'cept my camaro's a 68 (and I don't have his accent).

Haven't seen the texas edition commercial, but I have seen the one showing the different eras of thrucks - very cool commercial.

Re: Just saw an aweseome Chevy Commercial!!!

I've been diggin' that Tx edition commercial, I barely saw the '07. It would be cool to have your ride in a commercial like that. My wife's uncle had his late 70's Blazer in a Goodwrench parts commercial back in the 80's. GM paid him a couple grand to film him with their old lab driving around in it. I imagine the owner of the '72 got a couple of bucks for his time.

I don't care who you are, that's funny right there!

But the sad part is that (being a California "refugee" myself) I know you're not joking. It's probably only gotten worse since I escaped!
