Front grill assembly

I will be installing my grill , splash guard and top bar . On my 68 GMC

Is there any order that this all get put togeather .

I am guessing top bar first , grill and then splash guard ?

Advice appreciated

I would assemble the top bar to the grill, install the grill, then the splash guard. Usually the top bar is riveted to the grill so that's why I would do it that way.

That’s the order I put them in , how ever I installed the grill with out pop rivets , I think that was a stupid GM idea. I used u clip nuts , I put them on the top bar and used #8 SS screws to mount the grill to the top bar . It worked out great . Then I can remove the grill any time I choose with out dealing with pop rivets.
