Some work complete and new shoes !

Finished rebuilding the entire front end, shocks, brakes, drums, hoses, ball joints, springs, tie rods, idle arm, etc. Did a 1" front, 3" rear drop with springs and then 255/60r17s all the way around on 17X8 vision rallys.

I'm going for the...just out from stock look...or comments like "that truck looks really good"...but most aren't sure just why kinda feel.

Beautiful, love the police caps.

What kind of stance did the 1/3 give you... is it level now?

It is completely level now, the ride and handling are greatly improved with the new springs, etc.

Yeah Yeah, Looks great, but that would be 2nd to ride and handling. Can't see the beautiful stance from behind the wheel.

Re: Some work complete and new shoes !

Sorry, I'm afraid I have to be different and offer a different opinion. I am not very good with photoshop, but I slide the front tire up (maybe too much) to see what it would look like. For me, I'd drop the front a little more.

Re: Some work complete and new shoes !

I love a clean '68. Was the Maroon painted over an original White? Just wondering why the nose say's ''I'm a '67'' but she's lying about her age.

The whole front, cab and all were originally vermilion red. The bed, was the "off white / almost faded yellow" whatever that's called at sometime in the past before I got it.

I've gone back and forth between the notion of going back to full vermilion, or more of a "banana pudding" yellow. I'm leaning more towards vermilion at this time.

The current color is some sort of corvette reddish purple...I forget what it was actually called.
