With those wheels and that stance, that is one of the more sporty looking long steps I’ve seen.

That thing is different. The tail end is bobbed.

Here`s mine .I`m sitting on this one hoping to build a K/20 or 30:

snip...
If you change your mind I would consider driving out to buy the bed lol. My 67 K20 was originally a long step but the bed was gone long before I came into the picture. Actually it was originally the same color as the red 67 K20 on page 1.

Thanks. Old Yeller also has around 400hp worth of go for the show.
350 bored .040 over
750 Holley
Edelbrock Performer RPM intake
Pro Lightning 180cc AL heads 2.08/1.60
280 Competition Cam
MSD 6AL ignition
Hooker Headers
SM-465 4-Speed

I'm basically a sports car driver disguised as a long bed step side truck owner.

This GMC is amazing. Any idea what kind of tires those are? Original TSL's maybe?

Re: 67-72 Longsteps!

Where did you get that cap? If I ever got a long step for my 67 I would have to find one.

It came with the truck. It was very vintage and had a bumper sticker inside that said "If you value your life as much as I value this truck, don't mess with it!".

Here's the one that came with my '66. There's a place in CT that will make one similar to this brand new.

Re: 67-72 Longsteps!

Pickemup, that's beautiful! Do you have 17's or 17.5's? What are you running for tires? We need new tires on ours, but don't wanna spend a ton on 17.5's, so we're looking at wheels from newer GM trucks, but I'm not so sure on those...
