Re: Lets see 67-72 GMC trucks

Hey guys, Can someone show me a picture of the factory door panel for a '71 GMC? My interior has Wood pieces and I don't know what factory is. The only other c-10 I have known well was my brother's old '72 Super.

Thanks

You sure can! But when it's done I get to keep it! Yours is in better shape than mine was before I painted it, I will gladly keep it for you after I paint it! Heck, I will even pay to transfer it into my name! Thanks! Aaron

jgmc that is a gorgeous truck! Here's my driver, 69 GMC. A work in progress that doesn't get much work cause I drive it too much.

Well, since you figure mine's in better shape, I could trade you. Just think of the more learning you'll get!
BTW, that's the third paint job, last done around 1993.

Yes, this is a '69 GMC (Chevy grille surround with a flattened Kenworth muffler guard for a grille, '52 park lights and '57 hood and side emblems. The bumpers are exhaust tips, also Kenworth, with pipe welded in between) I sold it about a year ago .

No trades! I was simply going to paint it and keep it for you! You dont need the stress of working on it!

Those side emblems actually look pretty good on there! That truck sure had a funky family tree!

Re: Lets see 67-72 GMC trucks

Why do some of the GMC grills have black accents and some do not? Was it per year or per option?

Re: Lets see 67-72 GMC trucks

Here is mine. 1970.
I have repainted the bed. Added a blazer tank under the flat bed. I have new rockers to put on it just been too busy to really work on it like I should lately. I pulled all the trim off and filled the holes and she is in primer right now.
Also added a rebuild 350 bored 60 over. Im hoping to finish the body work and get it painted over the winter. But my next mod is to put ac in it.
