My big dissapointment with my 74, it's bagged, is the drive height. Well the drive height at a decent psi. That looks like a good solution to both of your problems. Nice work!

Yes, the hood is bolted on. It's popped up in the rear because the front tires are resting on the inner fender where the hinge mounts to it. That's causing it to flex and push the hood up. I'll eventually limit how far the front end can drop so the tire won't rest on the fender.

There doesn't appear to be any steering clearance issues. I need to have someone sit in the truck and turn the wheel back and forth so I can look at it better.

Slammed, you prob already told me this but my retention is nill these days . . .... what size tire are you running up front?

What were you running for air psi before & what do you expect now?

SCOTI, the front tires are 255/45/18. The psi didn't really change too much. I have some cheap a$$ gauges, so I'm not sure what the exact pressure is. Before the modification, I was running less air pressure than I should have been because it rode too high. However, I think it took about 80-85psi to get the bags to ride height before. Now it's about 75-80psi to get the bags to ride height. Before, the bags were angled inwards slightly. Now they are pretty much sitting in there vertical, so it obvioulsy requires less psi. Once I get it back on the road (and get some better gauges), I'll figure out what pressure it rides best at. Are you running dial gauges or digital? I was considering going digital becasue it seems like it'd be easier to get the truck raised to an exact pressure reading.

I'm using dial but I'm actually considering one of the air control systems (AirRides or AccuAir). They are pricy, but I like the comfort of being able to return to alignment setpoints @ the touch of a button. Still debating though.
