Dana 44 rear axle backing plates (Pictures)

Since the PO welded the backing plates on the end of the diff tube I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of a Dana 44 rear backing plate and how it is attached the right way?

It is supposed to be bolted down with everything else to the flange

There are special "half moon" head type bolts that are used here as full size bolt heads don't fit next to the tube.

No I did not. I reused the ones on my truck. The head looks like this with a lock nut on the inside. Just a pic I found on the net not the actual bolt. I suppose you could find them new.
