seat frame

hi anyone know what is different from 67/68 seat frames from 69/72 i want to put a later cover from a 71 or 72 and have a seat frame for a 68 it is the tilt type but dont care if that works just want to run the later cover .mike

From what I have found the seat covers are all the same from 67 to 72.

There are differences in the types of seats, but the covers fit all of them.

Yes, the folding seat will be an issue, but it can be done.

The issue would be how the seat back cover would be finished out at the bottom. The non-folding seat back cover comes down, covers and wraps under the support for the back(where the screws hold the seat back) which would not work if the seat was allowed to fold forward...the cover would tear.
