21 Window Panel

Ok probably not 21 exactly. When ever I see one of those old VW busses with all the little windows around the edge of the roof and a sliding rag top it makes me wonder what that set up would look like on a burb.

No I don't wonder what a Vista Cruiser or Bug top would look like

We've all seen the Vista Cruiser window Ambulance from a few months ago, no need to go there again. Some Land Rovers have them too.
How about a bug top on an 80's Volvo wagon?
Somebody in the neighborhood has a friend that has one of those I see from time to time.

Re: 21 Window Panel

I've thought these were cool from the first time I saw one. SoCal Cool, not NW Oregon practical.

I was watching one of those car TV shows the other day and they were doing a four door truck VW and it made me want the sliding rag top even more. And then I was thinking … hmm those little windows might be cool too haha!

Re: 21 Window Panel

I don’t know how similar the roofs are curvature or width wise but this place sells the conversion kits for VW bus’ to add the Ragtop. http://grumpysmetal.com/bus/bus-1964...ith-rails.html

Whoops, I forgot it wasn't an ambulance but a electric power company line inspection vehicle.
