MAN Those BOSS wheels look GOOD !!! that $ is less than I paid for my Coys!!

I think that someone had posted about the BOSS wheels in the past, but they didn't make a set that would really work for our trucks yet.

Hopefully they have changed their wheels a little and will.

I email coy and they said " the coys will now fit our trucks they have a deeper center and will fit without spacers!

are the boss wheels just as expensive as the coy's? or are thety more? and i dont mean on ebay. the boss wheels website doesn't have a price.

They were cheaper on the web site I looked @ but you could only get them in car a pattern (for 20's) & in only 1 size (20x8.5's). I'm guessing if they made more sizes (wider 5x5 pattern) they would cost more which would likely be equal to the Coys.

I don't know what site it was.... I just googled Boss 338 & started reading.

well thanks for the input, but i am SOL on that one since i dont want 20's and i will be running the stock truck 5 lug bolt pattern

They offered 5x5 pattern 18x8 & 18x9.5's but I don't remember what back-spacing.

Thanks guys. I personally give Gringoloco credit for being the first on this board (that I saw) with the Coys C5's on a 67-72.

That wheel is wicked and I know the A.E. Boss wheels are made in the USA and typically of decent quality.

It took a while, but the answer I got was "There are currently no plans for a 20" x 10" in that bolt pattern".

I am sorry but there is hardly anything made in america left, most of everything is imported from other countries and assembled here, just my .02...

I figured out what size spacers I would need.
For the rear i would need 1,75"thick spacers and for the front 1,5"thick ones.
Does someone know if they are available?
I also did some photo shopping.

I think they look good.
And the 9,5"are wide enough for me to put a 285 x 50 x 18 tire on.

its difficult sometimes, but if you try you can usually find stuff that isnt made in China. My Centerlines are made in California, from start to finished product, not anymore expensive than Coys or American racing wheels, also made in China by the way. Dont get me wrong, the Coys wheels are nice looking styles, I would have bought em if they werent made in China.

No offense, but in the end your American made Centerlines still look like Centerlines. This is fine if you like the choices they offer but sucks if you want a classic type wheel. I priced Centerlines version of the Halibrand kidney-bean/salt-flat style of wheel & inexpensive they weren't.

The 'look' of certain wheels requires Budniks or Billet Specialties etc which cost twice as much as Coys (or Centerlines

). That's what makes the Coys attractive..... classic styling that's affordable & available in a larger selection of offsets & bolt patterns that work on classic GM trucks.
