We all know that short beds are a few feet short of a real truck.

Re: support for longbeds

a favorite picture of our 67, ...I think I got hooked on long beds about 14 yrs ago, I had an 83 f150 longbox 4x4 extended cab, ... I lived about 10 miles west of where I worked. 5 miles of gravel. .... I could go about 80 and the truck felt very stable, if it had been a shortbox I think I probably would have rolled it.. not bragging, just remembering..... I do not drive like that anymore. ..... Marriage, Son and better time management helped all of that

p.s ..all very nice trucks posted, but the Ed Miller Drag Truck that special-K posted could almost give me goosebumps.

thanks for listening, .. life and goosebumps are good, kent

Thanks,
I think so to!
just ordered the new tunes for it.

I also painted the caliper's this past week.

I was thinking about doing the rear drums with the red paint but I think I'll leave them be for now.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Nothing like being able to haul building supplies like 2x4's and plywood sheets IN the bed, not hanging off the back. Long beds rule!

Running a little rich up there Joe?!?!? Great pics. Happened by your house in Roseville a few weeks back (saw your truck). Been looking for some real estate in the area and just driving around. NOW I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE!!!!!LOL!
That ol' truck chugs right along. I had the two boys in the back sitting on the couch with their bikes as I bombed down some dirt roads, even ran through some snow! I saw another longbed up there this last weekend, he loaded up four bikes in addition to all the other stuff he already had in there, he had just put a new 383 in it.

You moving to Roseville? There goes the neighborhood.

Re: support for longbeds

was really looking for a short bed, and never really liked the long bed look but when I came across the deal for this truck, well I couldn't pass it up... I can say, the long bed has grown on me and I like it.... 2"-4" and it will be even better...
