Re: Suburban and panel finds

1969 Burban project $1000.

https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/...250414368.html

I'm selling this truck as i have neglected to work on it. It has a 350 engine that ran before i parked it and started taking the calipers out. So the front end calipers are removed. Still have them. No battery. Im sure it will start but the wire from the starter was removed due to it needing replacement but was never replaced. Body is fairly straight except for the back end next to the tail light where there is a small dent. The roof was patched where the previous owner was trying to put in a sun roof. Vehicle will need to be towed. Any questions call or text.

I think Ive seen a write up on this burb before. I really like it a lot, but out of my price range. Ive been stacking up parts for my K-Burb and I know deep down Ill probably never do anything with it. And then you see something like this and you go "Oh Yeah that thing is so cool" Makes me want to keep stacking up parts lol.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Saw this 4x4 over at the beach in DE yesterday and had to circle back to get pics. Never seen one with fender skirts. Were these available back in the day or something someone has fabbed up? Nowhere near my price range but nice looking all the same.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

I saw this burb the other day. I didn't get out and look at it (not in the market), but I did give it the slow drive by. Its on a funky little lot on Aurora across the street from, if I remember correctly was a Kmart. Now its an Asian market.

Anyway, Id have to say it looks much better in the pictures.

71 350 auto $ 18500. Seems high with the paint description, either that or mine is worth more than I thought.

71 Suburban 3 door, custom 2 tone paint, tinted windows, 350/700r4, 12 bolt posi with new 4.11 gears, 20 inch black pearl custom wheels with toyo rubber, all 3 bench seats redone in original green/black houndstooth, very nice driver, paint is starting to show minor rust in usual areas.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

1969 panel I6 manual $4000.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/c...284857093.html

Considering a trade for a cruiser/sport bike. Would like to take my little boy on short trips. It's just the two of us now and he wants to ride. Was gonna be a family resto project but other side of family (wife) decided to move on without us. 1969 Chevy Panel truck, not a suburban. Great condition, daily driver. Original 6 motor with manual trans. Great on fuel. Awesome for camping/kayaking.Been on the island for many many years. Typical rust, nothing affecting operation. Rear quarter panels ($37), driver floor pan eventually ($59 online). Solid frame, newer tires. New windshield, Cash price is OBO. Gets plenty of attention wherever I go.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

69 V8 manual that obviously had a carb fire in its past but reasonably priced at $2750. Plus a great write up on the beast.

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...342248320.html

For sale 1969 Chevy Suburban with 350 V8 with 35k miles, 4 on the floor trans. Body is pretty straight, needs paint. Motor is very sound, fires up and runs and drives very well. Brand new tires (someone slashed the tires and had to replace), new clutch, very recent brake job, new battery. Seat needs a seat cover. Has a CD player and speakers up front, clean title, solid motor. Rack not included but could throw it in for $750/negotiable. Rack was $1500 new.

This is a great running truck. It will stomp the asses of past hybrid cars, current hybrid cars, and will even stomp the asses of theoretical self driving hybrid cars that don't yet exist but someday will. Your Prius will die a thousand deaths, this Suburban will forever be the mighty hand of vengeance, sent to strike down the unroadworthy. You can cancel your gym membership, cuz driving this thing will give you all the arm and leg days you need. No power steering, no power brakes, no whining, just G A I N S.

How is it $10k in just the interior? Really expensive/overcharged upholstery and headliner? I'm working on mine and I don't think I could spend $10k in the interior unless I tried really hard.

Custom interiors are expensive. It wouldn’t take long to reach ?10,000. Especially If you took it to a shop where you’re paying almost as much for the shops reputation as you are for the work. I could never do it.

Counting the stereo, guages, what could be suede headliner, custom dash pad, machine turned plates for guages and glove box, refurbished rear AC unit, custom seat covers, and that's only the things I can see in the photos. If you just dropped it off at a shop and picked it up done 10K would be a smoking deal. I would guess there is at least 40 hours of labor in the headliner alone at probably 50 dollars an hour.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

72 V8 looks pretty good $10,800.

https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/...413557218.html

OK so I'm not 100% sure I'm ready to sell it I've owned it for the past 18 years but it might be time so make me an offer and if it's good enough then it's time to sell. 350 CID, serpentine belt set up, 700r4 transmission, brand-new tires and wheels, new interior, great sounding stereo with sub woofer, tinted windows, Edelbrock intake carburetor and air cleaner, electric fan, New front steering components.

Ok I'm ready to re-up this ad and I'm going to put it at 10,800 OBO. Or partial trade for great gas mileage car.

Testing the waters

https://monterey.craigslist.org/cto/...419249924.html

It's an original paint all original 4x4 California Suburban since new. These don't come up for sale very often so I figured I'd post it here to see if there is someone that has been looking.

327/sm465/np205 updated

Fawn interior have protecto plate, build sheet, manuals, etc tons of paper work up until 1979

All original other than 4" lift (DIY4x B52 kit and shackle flip in the year. and disc brake Dana 44 front.

Message me with reasonable offers or trades

Interested in C10,C20 or a newer crew cab truck (2500HD, Avalanche, etc)

New body mounts, new stainless brake lines in the front (hard lines) all new stainless soft brake lines, plus a lot of other work done.

Cons:

Needs odds and ends sorted to make it a good driver. Including

Rust in rockers/kick panels and behind rear tires

carpet or rubber mat put back in

Brake pads/rotors and bled

engine tuned up

Clutch linkage work

This is a very unique Suburban and truly one of a kind it was my dream build but for the right deal and to the right person Id consider letting it go.

I have owned a lot of these 67-72 Chevy trucks over the years so can answer any questions you may have.

Reasonable offers considered.

I'm often surprised how many people don't know that there is a difference. When I was a Jimmy owner a lot of people would say, "Nice Bronco", which is even more ludicrous.
