350 head length.

I was going to put a 350 chevy engine in my 54 chevy BelAir. I was wondering how long are the heads on the 350. My 6 cylinder head is 27 inches long.

20 1/2" 350 head. But the SB chev(283,302,305,307,350,400 then the bored out blocks) The block is longer then the head is you might need that info to.

Was a 77 454 w/308 gear. Taken out 550 lbs. up front with motor clip change.
