Brothers Truck Parts issues

Any of you have trouble getting your parts from Brothers Truck Parts? I have had a bench seat replacement cover on order for almost a month and their order desk says that they are on back order and do not know when they will come in.

Is this an issue with them all of the time or are they usually ok and it is always a long lead-time part?

Just a replacement stock black seat cover for a 1970 GMC.

TIA,

Same issue here. The part did not say "out of stock" as some parts I have seen on their site have. Guess I can check out other places and see what's out there.

Thanks,

Re: Brothers Truck Parts issues

Well, I received an e-mail today saying that it shipped. We will see how long it takes to get here.

funny thing though is if I log onto their web site it still says that it is back ordered and no ship date set.

Re: Brothers Truck Parts issues

The seat cover was delivered today. Seems to be good quality so far. Now just have to wait for a WARM day to let it heat soak so it will be pliable enough to install.

At least that is what it says to do. Guess I could warm it up the garage with a space heater. not too close of course.

Guess that my only issue was that Brothers did not say that the seat covers were not in stock and that it would take almost a month to be delivered.
