"Glove Box Manuals"

Well that's what I call them anyway. Id like to see pictures of the covers of all the glove box manuals that came with our trucks, 67-72. I have a very nice 67manual that I really like the cover on.

I have no idea if 4x4s or blazers and burbs had their own owners manuals. Please post a pic of yours ... Thanks!

Re: "Glove Box Manuals"

Pic of my '71 glove box manual. This is the "house" copy, LOL. A bit tattered and worn but complete inside. Got it from a salvage yard truck years ago. The one I keep in my truck is in much nicer condition. Also covers the Suburbans and Blazers, not much information for either tho. Rather generic coverage.

Re: "Glove Box Manuals"

1969 blazers had a supplemental that went along with the regular owners manual...I have one but its not in very good shape. Its a rare piece to find.

Re: "Glove Box Manuals"

Here's the original manual packaging with manuals, no-spin envelope with no-spin literature. It's what came in the glove from dealer. There was also a lengthy sheet of paper with "Know about your no-spin" Instructions. It's interesting!

Original glove box contents from my '69.

- Manual with envelope
- Protect-O-Plate
- Protective envelope for registration. Other side is clear.

Here's a thread I started on the paste over in my 67 manual.
I thought it was interesting seeing such a thing but it seems lots of them had it.

Yes it's hard to see in my pic.

Imagine the person paging through stacks of manuals too lick and stick these....

im joking here of course nobody has that much spit.lol

Re: "Glove Box Manuals"

Interesting that it doesn't say 1971 on it. Just the X-7100 up in the corner.
