Re: Lower or not?

Depends on your use, etc. But, since you asked for opinions, I think it would look nice just a LITTLE lower.

Re: Lower or not?

I think the question should've been "how much do I lower it?"

I vote to give it an altitude adjustment.

Re: Lower or not?

Mark or Stan at ECE are waiting for you to call in your order for a 4/6 kit. They're on the west coast, so you have until 8:00pm EST.

Re: Lower or not?

VERY nice, I'm doing a frame-off on a 69 long step, and I really like that color.

I'm thinking about a small drop, maybe even equal in the front and back, because I don't want to lose that rake.

Re: Lower or not?

So far i like mine at its current stock height. How low can you lower a truck without adding a C-Notch?

Re: Lower or not?

If you are asking for opinions, I say leave it alone and put a taller tire like a 245. I would also do something different with the tail pipes but that is just me.

Great looking truck as is.

Re: Lower or not?

What does a 4/6 drop look like on a step bed truck like that. I have a 69 with a redneck drop (heated coil springs), but I like the height it's at.

Re: Lower or not?

Either it looks slightly higher than stock or I've been looking at slammed trucks too long. I like stock with the right size tire or mildly lowered up to 4/6,but I swear that looks a bit beefed up.

Re: Lower or not?

My opinion is to keep it at that height just get some taller tires to help fill the wheelwells.Dan.

Something close to this. Probably a little higher in the front (an inch?). And, this is with the tires the size that are on it now:

Re: Lower or not?

That's what mine looks like now. Possibly lower in the rear. It has 0 spring travel and is on the bump stops.
