anybody ever mounted a 41-46 truck on a 55-59 TF frame?

has anybody ever mounted a 41-46 truck on a 55-59 TF frame?

i ask because i have a cab and front end from a grain truck, and a nicely modded frame from my 59, that has a pretty rough cab, and lost my interest anyways.

i ended up selling my s10 to a handyman guy that comes around looking for work. his truck broke down and he couldn't finish his jobs to make enough money to fix the truck, so i let him take my s10, and make payments. this puts me without a chassis for my 47 gmc.

the 59 frame is straight and flat and about 34 inches wide outside to outside, so it seems like it would be very easy to make cab mounts for the gmc. the only issue i may have is with the nova ifs clip, but i'm sure i'll just have to test fit the front end to see if there are any issues there.

so before i just go down that road, i wanted to see if anybody has mounted a 41-46 on a 55-59 frame to learn from their process. anybody done it?

thanks!
