73 K10 started when i was 15

So the story of one of the most important things in my life is my truck, it is a 1973 chevy cheyenne 1/2 ton I am the second owner and the first owner was a family friend, it has undergone 3 motors not sure how many trans and same t-case. I 4.11's in the rear 3.73's up front (previous owner's sons convinced him it would be better blah blah blah thats a different story). So when i started this thing it was like three different colors rust spots everywhere, rust holes which i still have not fixed permently and two weeks after i got it running boom head gasket blew... now keep in mind I was 15 no job no nothing this is a father son project and I love my dad more than anybody for sticking through this with me. So pictures are in oldest to newest order

Re: 73 K10 started when i was 15

you can have the seat out of my 74, the cover is a little chewed up, but the foam is in great shape. plus i know where you can get a new cover for it for pretty cheap. i recovered my seat, and its probably my favorite part of the interior. and you definitely want to keep the bench seat, can't tell you how many times its come in handy

Pretty decent project. You can pick up some new window cranks at your local parts store.
