1990 suburban drop

I’ve got a 1990 suburban with drop shackles now. I wasn’t able to use the holes for a 2” drop because the shackles would hit the fuel filler hose. So I cut off the last 2 and used the closer holes. My idea now though is to do an axle flip kit and put the stock shackles back in. I’m looking for a total 3/5” drop but I’ll use spindles in the front. Would the axle flip be the easiest way to get it low in the back? And I’ve been told by a lot of people I can do it without a c-notch kit so I’m glad for that. I’m just looking for the easiest way to get it low. Thanks.
