Tire carrier bolt, washer nut combo

This bolt is a custom machined bolt. The Square part was designed to be a little bit larger to engage bettet with the tire carrier.

The washer is the same as I made before

The nut is a 7/16-20 chrome.

Vacuum plated zinc, natural color.

GM part number for the Blazer spare tire bolt is 3991023 and is 6-7/8” long.



For the side mount spare, it depends on the year. 1971-72 are different number. Here is an excerpt from a GM parts book:
