TRL engine suffix:
1973, 1974, 1978 TRUCK 454 Block: 3999289 1972-78 454 2 bolt main Intake: 3883948 66-68 Passenger,Chevelle, Corvette,(427,67),Camaro(396,66-68) Cast Iron,Oval Port,390 HP,Q-jet I can't see the year clearly enough in your last pic to tell you.

Looks like a 7 on the year, 1977. maybe 73 just guessing.

Date block was cast - June 22 1973 ? Motor assembled June 26.
