8.1 install questions
I am wanting to start a 8.1 swap into my 1988 crewcab. I read somewhere else that in order to fit a 8.1 with exaust manifolds on it between the frame rails i would need to trim alot of the frame to clear the manifolds. does anybody have experience with this ?

are you going to run stock or headers? stock manifolds will fit with no modification headers depending on brand may require tweaking

Might want to ask larry i think he has done 2 or 3 8.1 swaps or at least i know one for sure lol
