Re: 1976 Blazer Chalet-Clean

"Reserve not met" for that Colorado Chalet. Meanwhile, at the other end of the country there is a clean one with an eBay buy-it-now price of $3500, in Durham NC. It's serial #0023, one that's been on Craigslist for a long time.

I may have to get one down the road and put a small lift with bigger wheels and tires and take the kid and wife on some trips....

Like this one? Scroll down to my post #10 in that thread for a link to the owner's lifted truck business. It's been a long time since I emailed him, it may still be for sale...

Re: 1976 Blazer Chalet-Clean

Glad to announce the one at the top of this thread was bought by a gentleman in Wyoming, who just joined our Chalet owners' forum. He's really enthused about continuing its restoration.

Meanwhile, here's a link for a San Fransisco Bay area one - the seller says it's serial #1560 built 11/76. Call his direct number 707-874 3535.

And as ever, I do these favors for the sellers for nothing more than the #s & build dates of the rigs....

Re: 1976 Blazer Chalet-Clean

Funny the things you see with all the satellite photos available.
Looking at some house for sale locally and it looks like the neighbor has a Chalet hiding in the backyard?

PMs sent to kevinr1970 & BlazerEagle. Those MSN Bird's Eye views tend to be about 2-3 years old, I've spotted a few Chalets that way and my own car parked at the job site I worked at 3 years ago....

Yep, I never got around to popping that one in here. Supposedly it was sold in its 4th listing for $9,900, but your link is for its fifth listing. When it first appeared, it was so shiny that I didn't connect it with a previous photo I had - see first photo below.

I've been busy with other things. Here's a Craigslist link for an inexpensive one near Knoxville Tennessee, the photo is sourced from our Chalet owners' forum, when the seller joined a few months ago.

Allegedly, though he says it is a factory install on a '91, so I emailed him for pics. Couldn't be 'factory' installed, but more likely a dealer install of one of the aftermarket campers at best. Or, somebody really did plop a '76 or '77 camper unit on it...

Re: Blazer Chalet-Info inside

I just called the above seller - from the description he gave, it sounds like a 4Wheel brand one, painted to match the Blazer. He was going with a mistaken ID from somebody he knew who said it was a Chalet, plus the title was changed to say something to that effect. I advised him to re-word his ad since there are also guys out there specifically looking for such aftermarket campers.
