After no response to PM's and at the advice of a mod, I'm posting this to warn others who might have or are considering buying parts from this guy.

He put up a post on November 20th offering several 60-66 parts for sale. On November 30th, I noticed his thread and that he was selling a big back window trim for $40. I replied to the thread and said I would take it if he still had it.

He replied that day that he still had it, gave me his Paypal address and stated that he would send it out that day if he received payment. I immediately sent him the money via Paypal and confirmed the payment in the thread.

He has not had any posts in the thread since that day. I got busy with life and then realized I hadn't received it yet. On December 23rd, I sent the following PM:


Can you give me an update on the trim I purchased? It's been over 3 weeks if you shipped it out the day I paid you, as you said.

That PM, as well as a subsequent one, has gone unaswered. No contact, no part, no refund. I know he was on less frequently after the sales date, but he was on many times after my PM was sent and I got no response. I understand that life happens, but at least reach out and let me know what's going on.

The thread has been locked with a notice so others aren't taken, but I wanted this noted for the record.

have you files a dispute with paypal? maybe see if they can get your money back?

Oh dang! I completely forgot about that. Thank you! I'll do that right now.

Also, and I know this will sound corny, it's not so much about the money. If it was, I would have made a bigger stink. It's more about the fact that we have a pretty damn good thing going here on these forums and one hates not to be able to take someone at their word.
