That's cool to have. In the '90s I bought a helicopter shot of my place from an aerial photo service out of Washington State. I guess they're not selling a lot of pictures any more

I'll bet you're right. It would take a lot of avgas to get a helicopter high enough to shoot an aerial picture of your place from here...

Plus there's Google Earth and drones, so that thins things down. The business is out of WA State. I guess pilots were like franchises around the nation who sent the images back to the home office. The home office name and address are on the back

Well, that doesn't look like fun. I had something similar when I buried the plastic drain tile from my house to the road ditch. I just shoveled in enough dirt to hold it down in a few places. It rained pretty good that night and it floated it all to the top. I had to pull it all out and clean out the ditch by hand. That was a lot of work.

I bet you have some washed in dirt to get back out too.....

This is my life . The misses refuses to put stuff on the countertop . I’ve made three cutting boards that she uses one of those nylon boards on top of them because they are to nice .

It could be worse -- she could be using the countertop as a cutting board!

It’s only wood can be sanded and refinished , I’m waiting for the first scratch just like when you buy a new car . You know it’s going to happen.

Little wood scrounge today . 3 loads like this one wet oak is heavy had to use a hickory counterbalance.

Took my family to the wildlife refuge today. We saw a dozen different species of ducks, plus several hawks, and geese, turkeys, pheasants, vultures, sandhill cranes…

There is a wildlife refuge in Bend.
Turkeys, Red Crested Dealers, and Yellow Belly Users, Left Handed Panhandelers, and the Target Cart Creeper. All visable in their natural ellement, flourishing in Oregon's open public drug use laws. No hunting, no harassing, hand feeding encouraged. No Bears allowed.

I remember about 30 yrs ago
My father in law was in bend and his 16 ft trailer lost the axle out in that area. He decided to tear it apart and haul it off instead of towing. He got arrested for because they thought it was making a mess on the land. Times have changed.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

It is true. My wife had a little side business doing clean-outs for a realtor friend of ours. It really changed our perspective on saving stuff. We threw out people's hobbies, careers, collectables, etc. In 10 minutes we would figure out and try to guess what they did or were into. It was actually quite depressing. Especially now as I watch my Dad prepare for his departure.
