Are you sure 11 lbs? What did you check them with, just curious. I would have thought they would be somewhere around 3-400

LOL I thought you were asking for their weight, not their weight rating! ha ha so yeah they weigh 11lbs ea, their rating I have no Idea... Rob at No Limit Engineering here on the forum would probably know the answer to that question.

Haha, okay. I was thinking, there's no freakin way they only load 11 pounds, haha. Thank you tho, I really appreciate it. How would I get ahold of Rob?

Nice work! What steps did you take to repair the dent?

I started by taking a grinder with a scotch bright pad and got rid of the paint around the dent. Then I took a sand blaster and blasted the center of the dent so the paint was gone and I could get a solid weld in the center. Next I took a slide hammer and roughed in the majority of the dent. Then i took a straight edge to gauge how much more it needed and filled in the rest with weld until I was happy.

Thanks guys. I'm picking my seat from the upholstery shop next week and hopefully getting my fenders, tailgate, hood, doors, and cowl to the painter so he can paint the jambs and we can bolt this thing together. That's about it for the update, impatiently waiting

Thanks guys. Yea Cheby, it's the chrome outer. The bowtie that I got was kinda beat up but the chrome is solid so I'm thinking a carbon fiber insert?? Any other ideas? My dad said brushed aluminum.

Thanks Cheby. I had a really good job lined out for the summer and it was looking like I could've had this thing done by the time I go back to school but I broke my wrist and I have to wear a cast for 8-10 weeks so that kinda put a damper on my situation. I'll still do my best to keep plugging away at this thing, keep posted
