Thanks, but I think my kid might fight you over that one. Bring that nice black one up here so my kid and I can check it out. Oh, and you have to trailer it or drive it back home in reverse.:lol:

I might have to see if your dad will let me put a few on his lot to sell.

Did you lose forward gears in the red truck?

No, just temporarily sidetracked. I found the International, had to change the motor in my '96 PSD, filmed all the HS and JH basketball games (my boy's team was undefeated and won District Tournament :metal::metal:), towed my Fifth wheel toy hauler down to Tucson and traded it for a travel trailer toy hauler and got to do some riding at Coral Pink Sand Dunes on the way home. I will get back on it as soon as I can get rid of my PSD.

Yes, we had a good time and I wouldn't trade any of it. I met up with 84Chevyguyid in Idaho Falls and he bought my family and I brunch on the way to Tucson (Thanks again Mike).

I jumped over to your build thread and your project is coming along nice. Other than my wife's Yukon XL I am die hard diesel guy. Before that however I was a BBC person. I have owned my share of these squares. but only one of them was a 1/2 ton all others were 3/4 and 1 tons. Keep up the good work on yours and good luck with that annoying vibration.

Thank you sir! We are pretty sure the trans is/was the torque converter.

Awsome build tread! I've read the whole thing like 4 times. Did you ever figure out if it is too high for your fifth wheel? Doing a 24 valve 47re swap in my 91 crew and need to order the lift. It will need to tow a toy hauler in the future and I can't decide between 4 or 6in lift.

Thanks 656mx. No, I never tried pulling the fifth wheel since I have a few other trucks and a few months ago I traded off my fifth wheel for a bumper pull toy hauler. I wanted a 4 inch lift but couldn't locate one fast enough so I just ordered the 6 inch.

Let me know how that 47re works out for you. Do you have a build thread?

no build tread yet. Ill start one when I get a little further into it. Going to pull the 6.2 out this week and start building motor mounts.

I had a friend who owns a local body shop put a little elbow grease into shining it up. Not the best photo but a big improvement. I also include a picture from when I first got the truck.

Yes, it's a little rough and needs a lot of TLC.

If I could afford it and had the patience I would definitely let you build it because I know it would turn out awesome. :metal: :metal:

 Thanks! After the Longhorn is drivable, and my fence is done at home, I will bring the 76 there and start getting ready. I need to have it drivable before snow flies. :mm:

I know you are all tired of hearing this but I haven't really made the time to do any work on the truck. My boy should have his license in March so after his football season is over I am going to have to make some time before basketball starts. The plan is to reseal the transfer case and wire in an OBDII plug. :waah: :smoke:

You should put that cab on a F450 Super Duty frame like this !

I keep looking on CL but haven't found anything like that. I am leaning towards one of the step vans with a 4bt and just doing a cab swap for the International Project.

Have fun with foot ball. My work load has not netted me much truck time either.
