I think I've seen places that sell the head and tailght harnesses, but it's been awhile, I thought about doing the same thing, since I was in there, but once I got behind the loom and the wires are great so wasn't worried about it

Okay I need to update this thread and post where I left off. Engine and tranny is in along with my suspension 3.5/5.5 I rebuilt my front end all new tie rods idler arm and bushings, got gas line from existing tank going but have to make a slight modification, installing my harness tonight and rewiring the whole truck this weekend...I had to step away for awhile as things got overwhelming lol it got to the point where I was dreaming about this truck, so had to just step back and rest my mind for awhile...I have to get my tranny cooler lines figured out since I got a new tranny cooler and got a different power steering cooler that other one that came with it was too awkward and would have been a pain to bolt up so I got something a bit nicer looking...so Im back on the drawing board and trying to get this thing done...here is a pic of it after the suspension I will most more stuff later

I wanted to update this thread and let everyone know the progress, this past weekend I got started on my wiring, I called "Tidwell Installations" here in San Diego to do my chassis wiring harness because I wanted it done right and this guy is top notch. I also got my engine wiring harness back from being redone. As some of you know I had a hard time trying to find all the right connectors and take it from me if you ever have your wiring harness sent out, make sure you label every connector, it will make life so much easier ! anyways had a hard time with the harness and some of the connectors wouldnt reach the correct destinations, no big deal had to move some wires around and got them on. Trace Tidwell that was wiring the rest of the truck jumped right in and started getting some wires moved, one thing lead to another and next thing you know he is rerouting the entire harness so it looks much better in the engine compartment I was amazed at this guys work. Below are some pics of what he started and should be finished next weekend all the electrical will be done on this truck by then

I was amazed at how clean it looks { still need to change that fuel rail connection }

this is where he left off should be done next weekend

I will post more pics when all electrical is finished.

Very true statement! Thought my truck would be drive able by now but my truck told me otherwise. It apparently is impatient for the LS motor and sabatoged it's 250.

The swap is looking good. Spending my Memorial Day on the porch swing reading LS swaps.

Re: Need advice: LS ENGINE SWAP

Yep Im praying that it will start on D-Day but we'll take it as it comes, Memorial day weekend was somewhat productive got my fuel connections all correct, finished my switch panel, got my power steering cooler all installed and done, with oil filled. Took a good look at my transmission cooler lines and pretty sure I got that figured out but dont think the cooler I got will work, so need to get a different one I think, unless I can figure out where I can get the proper hose connections. My wiring guy Trace should have all my wiring done this comming week. Then have to figure out my drive shaft and send it off to be redone. :waah:

I used the extra wire for other things on my build. Came in handy so save it.
