Re: Show lowered 88-98 trucks
I said that once I got my new wheels and tires in and on my truck I'd post back in this thread again so here goes
A before and after pic(everything else that has changed on it has happened over the past few months) And a full size pic The truck looks soooo much better, I've always hated those wheels, wheels and tires can make or break the looks of any vehicle in my opinion.. My Dad and uncle lowered this thing when it was my dads and those wheels were the "cheapest thing from summit racing that would let us put wide tires on it." I'm so glad I finally changed them... |
Re: Show lowered 88-98 trucks
Looks good
the wheels do make a big difference I bought a 66 GMC a couple years ago that had a set of those wheels on it and they seemed more of a 4 wheel drive style wheel to me |

And as to the tweaked bumper.. yeah it is, always has been. I never have bothered to figure out why... I always assumed someone in the past adjusted it wrong(best case scenario). I want a smooth bumper so when I finally get one I'll have to deduce why the bumper is tweaked. |

Re: Show lowered 88-98 trucks
Thanks! Does it rub very much? I just picked up a 98 Ext Cab with the same wheels and I'm thinking about doing a 4/6.
