I think that it looked good in the crossmember work that your son did on his truck.

Yea, we get a little dimple happy at times

We thought twice before starting to pop holes but knew we had extra wings and could easily swap them out if we didn't like them. The bumper is in less than perfect shape, so once again, not much to lose by playing around...plus we wanted airflow to the tranny cooler behind it.

But, all in all, we like the dimpled holes :metal:

Had a busy week trying to get the burb driveable for a scheduled exhaust appointment sat. morning.

First was getting at least the drivers seat in, so bent some tube up, and after a bit of cutting, grinding, and welding had a basic mount for the drivers side...dropped a set of sliders on and bolted it down. :metal:

We also temporarily set a old B&M shifter down until we fiqure some sort of center console out...works well enough for the time being.

Sat. morning we had a couple FM 50s welded in with a crossover (2" crossover, 2 1/2" on the rest) and dumping in front of the rear through some 3 1/2" SS tips...sounds really nice!! :burnout:

Picked it up at noon and ran it over for a front end alignment. On the way home we cruised past a car show in progress, turns out they were closing registration in 5 mins...we whipped the burb in there!!:lol:

Spent the next few hours hanging out with some pretty cool rides...almost 200 of them!

It creates a suction between alternating exhaust pulses (side to side), increasing the scavenging effect and thus increasing flow...better sound and more power. At least that's my basic understanding :uhmk:

Hey Chad, what's up?

We take all of our exhaust work to a shop off of 89th on the south side called Bender's Exhaust. Ben, the owner, has always done exceptional work at a fair price. We paid $450 out the door for everything and he had it done in a few hours. He takes great pride in the work that he does and always has some cool rides in there that he's working on.

My boy and I will work on a video today of it. The FM 50s quieted it down but you can certainly tell something is still going on with it!! We wanted to stay way from any interior drone on the inside but still have an aggresive tone outside...I think we got it.

Well, I got a little distracted tonight and decided to play with some video software that I'm going to have to learn eventually. I figured this might as well be my first shot at it!
