Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
I wish I could get my wife to help instead of "supervising" from the couch.
She just wants to drive them not work on them. |
Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
First off your blazer is one of the nicest I have ever seen. I am rebuilding my 82 SWB that was previously bagged. I did not like the set up so I rebuilt the frame, flipped the rear, and put springs on the front. I remember the last truck I had with just springs rode terrible. My question for you is, when you have the front of your blazer aired up for driving how high do you have to air it up for a smooth ride? With my old air ride set up the front had to be up and the rear was down for it to be a smooth ride and I hated the overall look of it.
Thanks and nice ride again. Jason |

Here are some pics of it going down the road. As long as the road is in good shape then I run about 60 PSI and it sits level. And thanks for the kind words.

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
Great pics. Thanks for your time. Think I will keep my bags on the front at least.

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
May have been asked, but is your front bumper the chrome one from LMC de-chromed or did you get that else where?

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
Yea, the one the lower right is Travis' Blazer.
Why would someone go to such length to describe a vehicle and NOT include an actual picture of it is it is as nice and the ad leads you to believe..... |
Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
The whole thing sounds fishy. No name, no phone number, just wants to set up a meeting. Almost like he is trying to set somebody up to be robbed meeting a hopeful buyer carrying $4000 cash somewhere away from home.
If he really had that much into the rig he would definitely have pictures of it. It makes no sense putting pics of other peoples vehicles in your ad if what you are selling is as nice as he leads you to believe. No mention of why he is selling it either. The whole ad makes me leery. |
Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
I just read that add. If someone ever refers to one of my square body trucks as a SLAB I think I'm going to puke on their shoes.

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
Yep that is a pic from this past spring at a show. And that is just odd, I am like you all why would you put a pic of something that your not ever selling, and why would someone have to send him a phone number?

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
