All, That is sweet. This person has the goods. i am amazed everytime I come on this site with the ability I see to make these trucks even better than they came from the factory. Have a Chevy Christmas everyone. Or worse case scenario a GM christmas.

finally getting started on inside of the truck. here's a few pics of the speaker box with the amp racks , also will be building console and subwoofer box to house a 12' kicker sub .also got the wood for the bed floor just waiting on the polished stainless stips to come in. i'll keep you posted. chapster ,the wheels are 8x18 front and 10x20 rear , i'm not sure on the backspace, the wheel were bought for an '86 truck , but they do fit this truck better than they did the '86.

Uhm... how are you going to fit the subs in that TINY space? I hope you aren't trying to fit an L5 or L7 in that 3" deep hole.

Re: progress pictures

from wat i understood from some caraudioguys is that a 12 inch is a bit too mush for the small cab (might have been just a boxvolume isiue) they adviced me to use a 10 ince sub

Re: progress pictures

12" isnt too much. There is never too much bass :) I'm running a kx2500.1 to two RE SX 12"s.

You could conceivably make a box in the neighbor hood of 14" wide by 24" long by however tall you want say 12" .. thats pretty much in the neighbohood of 1.75 to 2 cubic feet, I believe.
