Re: Best "Rake/Stance" for a Hot Rodded 60-66 C10?
1.5 coil cut from stock front springs. Bump stop brackets completely removed. CPP disc/drop spindle kit, unknown used drop rear springs, drop blocks, small pipe notch, stock front wheels with 1.5" bolt on spacers, 8" vintage aftermarket chrome reverse wheels (slightly less backspacing than 8" blazer wheels), 215/75 and 235/75 tires. The front wheel spacers really help fill out the fenderwell while keeping the skinny front wheel/tire look.

Not the best, but here's how my '63 ended up. I kept it pretty close to my old Super Gas/Street Chevy II.

I'm not sure why people are still posting on this thread. I posted my truck a long time ago.;)

My problem is I'm still stuck in the late 70's early 80's when the hot rods were jacked up in the back. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/ba/d1...2e48c7adeb.jpg |

Thanks. 2 1/2 inch drop spindles and 2 inch drop springs in the front, and 4 inch drop springs in the rear. About as low as you can go without hitting anything or bagging it.

Before on the left: CPP 2.5" modular drop spindles, 4" lowering springs, 454 w/iron heads. Lots of lower control arm scraping on semi-bumpy roads.
After on the right: CPP 2.5" modular drop spindles, 3" lowering springs, 454 w/iron heads. No more scrapes. Rears combo lowering springs and blocks. |

Here's mine. 2 1/2" drop spindles & 1" drop springs in front. 5" drop springs in the rear. no bed yet or full tank of gas so it will probably come down another inch or so in the rear.
