Top notch building all the way.
Screaming Trophy truck right there.

Edited a few hours later after original comment cause couldn't stop thinking how top notch these trucks are.
Bed with a mirror finish. Man that's cool.
I shudder every time I tackle a new project of my own.
Clem and his crew stomp these trucks out top quality repeatedly.
Quality of work at Tuba Trucks keeps me trying even harder to get it right the first time.
Hope that one day Steiner can sit in the shadows of one of Clems trucks.

OK. Your just out of control now! Keep up the good work. Does someone plan on driving that truck or are they going to put it in their living room and toss the Steinway? NOICE!

thanks pardner, we seem to do the slightly modified ones whereas you do trucks that are seriously modified, bagged, stretched and who knows what else. I think you're the one casting the shadow.
can't wait for Oct. you moving in, right?

Its one of my favorite color combos. Pretty close to stock, can't remember where we got the Dupont numbers but I got them if you need them.

Thanks guys... be back later with some updates and changes at the shop.

we're closing in on the completion of the 'Austin Blue'. Stuff like tailgate chain hoses, wipers, carpet, and exhaust plus some other little things but... she started up and sounds solid, shifts, stops and turns just fine. Heres some pics...

Here's a couple of more... Good to be ahead of the deadline of mid October but there's still lots of time in getting everything just right. The owner is flying in on a one-way ticket and expecting to drive her home... a little added pressure.

one of the fun things we did was to create a glove box SPID sheet that represents the options on this truck... sorry but we made up some of the numbers because they weren't available at the factory, oh well.

Had a couple of others wanting a Spid done for their trucks, I believe it was 66 only. And Dano is a fantastic cut and buff guy, he makes my mediocre paint jobs look good.

Thanks B... as of right now, we're thinking an opening mid to late fall. Generally taking a year for a complete redo.

Thanks Clem,
I hope so too!
I have a thousand miles on her again since the last trans rebuild, but now I have some ignition gremlin that I am trying to pin-point!...Random ignition failure sucks!
It will simply shut off while going down the road, then you stop, and throw it into park, turn the key, it will start like nothing ever happened, and then you can drive it another couple hundred miles...or not.

Dude!
You do not know it, but I have been trying to rack miles on this thing all summer in order to gain confidence for this fall without much luck....
I have 5983 miles on it at this moment (I just checked) and I am about to throw caution to the wind!...But that is a hell of a long way to tow it either way, if it doesn't make it...LOL!

Clem,
I just got one hell of a laugh out of your response!!!!
I am so anxious, but cautious about this!
With every day that goes by, I am running fuel through this thing trying to figure out what is going on!...Trying to get it to quit altogether so that I can locate the component(s) in question!
If it would simply stop, I could troubleshoot!!!
