Nice. I am completely jealous! I want a Blazer now. The interior is super clean and the engine looks immaculate. PM me what brand the headers are and the price tag on em!

Man let me tell you I am going to hate to see this thread end. Now I have to find another blazer thread to drool over. That thing looks awesome. It really does. Thanks for the detailed pics and descriptions of what was done. So what is on Tap next?

Thanks. can't find any info on the headers on them or in the receipts. They have nice ceramic coating though. Not sure of the fit between 2wd and 4wd anyways....

THanks...just have to get the hatch together and then bolt the top and hatch on and it'll be done.

Next is up in the air right now....looking for another deal on a project...hopefully to finish my original build with the shaved cab I still have. Want a lowered truck and plan to USE it around the house.

Eventually I REALLY want a blazer myself. I'm going to go the 2wd route whether I convert it or not and it will be a roadster (always topless) as this thing is such a pleasure to drive with the top off. Need to find a smaller house with a bigger garage before that can happen though ;)

Thanks to everyone who's followed along and offered encouragement. It's been a lot of work but I've enjoyed it overall. Going to give my wife a break  and wait a bit but if I find a deal I'm going to be all over it ;)

The next owner seems like a really nice guy from our phone and email conversations and he wanted to let everyone know he'll post pictures up at some point when he gets it.

Very nice. What size tires and lift is that?

All lights now working. Jason was able to do a safety check and checked the timing and all fluids. (He's now a certified state inspector too)
Wanted to take a test drive but not with a loose top. Will hopefully bolt it on tomorrow night and make it to a local cruise-in.

Paint is going to be wet sanded and buffed Sunday morning by the paint guy and his top assistant. Can't wait to see it all buffed up to a shine!!!

Here's pictures showing the bezels on the lights and the trim rings and center caps I was also able to install with Jason's help on the rings that were kicking my butt ;) . Did I ever mention it has the Warn Gold locking hubs :metal:

Actually just soapy water then some of the low sheen armor all. Think I did it three times (armor all) until I was happy with a deeper black look to the boot....

33's can't remember the exact size unless I posted somewhere in the build. It was a 2" front / 4" rear lift. Since the blazers are lower from the factory in the rear it levels it out perfectly.

Thanks, it was a fun build since most of the dirty work was already completed....although I really do like tearing down these trucks....
I was happy with how it turned out and got a TON of great comments on my few test drives with it. I REALLY loved the Blazer with the top off. Definitely want to have a 2wd version some day that's a full time roadster (no top)
